Who Are We?
Jurgen Murphy: Director & Owner
Jurgen's journey in plastering began young, working alongside his father while still in school. This early immersion rooted him deeply in the trade, making him a third-generation plasterer. Officially starting his career in 1983, Jurgen has since built a reputation for excellence.
Today, he is the Director and Owner of both JH Murphy Plastering and Murphy's Lath & Lime, overseeing all operations and ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
Colin Fox: Quantity Surveyor
Colin brings a diverse and extensive background to his role. With over a decade of experience in construction and finishing trades, his career spans civil engineering, bespoke carpentry, and traditional oak-framed construction. His professional relationship with Jurgen began in 2013, working together when Colin was a client representative. This collaboration led him to join the JH Murphy Plastering team, where he has focused the past nine years specifically on plastering, drylining, and lime plaster. Colin seamlessly combines his technical expertise with hands-on project management, playing a pivotal role in ensuring our projects are meticulously planned, efficiently managed, and deliver exceptional value for our clients.
